![]() ![]() I can't think of any yielding iso's in Iron Isometrics. Justa goes into sub-max holds for extended duration quite a lot in his book. There are some who advocate always max tension in your holds, but even before I had read Justa's book I had often done long (90-120 second) sub-max holds among the max 20-30 second efforts and found them quite refreshing instead of exhausting. In other words, give anything a go and see what you get out of it. ![]() The main thing I derived from it was his constantly trying just about anything and everything out re hold times and percentages of tension, variety of exercises. ![]() It's available on Sierra in the Publications section. Steve Justa's Iron Isometrics is the book I got a lot of inspiration from.
